The BIG Search: Las Vegas
Super Bowl 2018 UPDATE-
Imagine someone you love disappearing without a trace…
no word from them.
Questions would continually be running through your mind. Are they being abused or raped? Are they being exploited for someone else’s profit? Are they even alive?
This is the reality for the families and friends of the children we will be looking for. Each face represents someone’s son or daughter, someone’s loved one.
WHAT AN AMAZING WEEKEND!
12 OF THE 30 FEATURED MISSING CHILDREN WERE SAFELY RECOVERED!
At FREE International we have trained law enforcement and first responders on how to recognize and respond to human trafficking. We have embraced victims as they have been set free from a life of slavery and saw to getting their basic needs met to help them rebuild their lives. We have coordinated missing children searches all across the country, and we couldn’t do any of these things without collaborations with awesome organizations like Nevada Child Seekers and Klaas Kids and the hardworking and dedicated volunteers that show up and make a huge difference!
During Super Bowl weekend, together with volunteers, Klaas Kids, Cirque du Soleil, SERT Ministries, Trinity Life Center, Chaplaincy of Nevada, Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department Volunteers and all law enforcement agencies in Nevada, we safely located 12 of our 30 most vulnerable missing children and an additional 17 outside of our initial targets! We handed out more than 750 missing children booklets and 15,000 flyers across the Las Vegas area!
Additional appreciation goes out to Big Search sponsor Cox Charities, snack supplier Letelier Oral Surgery and NV Energy and the Engelstad Family Foundation. Protecting our children is a team effort and we will never stop being a voice for the missing and exploited.
You can continue the search by downloading the updated Missing Children’s booklet and studying the faces. If you see a face that looks familiar please call 9-1-1. YOU could be the one that helps rescue a missing child, and helps them get home to their family and loved ones.
